Black Sails: ‘Brie’ (Of Yachtcations in Kemah) Gets a New Look

‘Brie’, a Lagoon 450 Catamaran from the Yachtcations Charter Fleet, with her new #BlackedOut look!

At Quantum Sails - Gulf Coast we recently installed new sails and a sail pack on ‘Brie’, a Lagoon 450 catamaran in the Yachtcations charter fleet out of Kemah Boardwalk Marina in Kemah, TX. We have been doing a lot of work in the growing catamaran population here on the Gulf Coast but this installation was a bit more eye-catching than the others. Featuring a black on black color scheme including black Dacron and thread these sails were meant to be noticed. The mainsail is a square-top design with full battens throughout, when dropped it is caught in a black Sunbrella Quantum sail pack, and the genoa is cross-cut with a black Sunbrella UV cover. Both the mainsail and the genoa sport the name and logo of Yachtcations out of Kemah, TX and are made out of Newport black Dacron from Challenge Sailcloth. Yachtcations runs charters, special occasion cruise charters, sailing lessons, and more with their fleet of catamarans!
